Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Educational Society has been founded by eminent educationists and social workers of the area under the Chairmanship of S. Sucha Singh Langah, Agriculture Minister, Punjab. The society was registered in July 1998 with one of its main objectives to organize social, cultural and educational institutions. Inspired by the all time highest values of self less sacrifices by Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj for the creation of class less and healthy society, it resolved to establish Sh. Guru Gobind Singh College of Education at Dhariwal for providing professional education to the students of this rural area to enable them for a job-oriented career and to meet the necessity of quality and competent teachers to the tune of International Standards with a thorough insight of the profession based on the basic scientific principles, society and future of our country.
