BABA DEEP SINGH INSTITUTE was established in 1953 in a small clinic “Anoop Clinic” near arna barna chowk, where its name formally was alpha academy and founder was Dr.Anoop Singh later on a wing of institute philanthropic got widen by engulfing the surrounding area in its free service ‘Gurdwar Ahulwalia Sahib' where founder laid the foundation stone of charitable dispensary with passage of time Dr.Anoop Singh real brother S.Jagat Singh started another wing of BABA DEEP SINGH INSTITUTE opp. State bank of Patiala in the name of free Jal Sewa where multiple earthen matkas are interconnected and without ice he chilled the people’s tongue with traditional taste of pure water fatigued from daily routine of courts with passage of time lot of ups and down came in the way of philanthropic projects of BABA DEEP SINGH INSTITUTE but with blessings of 'Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji', finally in 2001 BABA DEEP SINGH INDO AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF MEDICO TECHNICALS (INDIA) came under the control of Governing Society of Phillanthoripistic Educational & Research Society of World peace (India) under the dynamic leadership of Dr.Harpeet Singh Aurora.

Now a huge project to promote Sikhism especially the religion of humanity is in pipeline for eg. BABA DEEP SINGH Dukhbhanjani Charitable Dispensary, BABA DEEP SINGH and Old Age Care Home and BABA DEEP SINGH Abandoned Female Child Home, in the name of Akal Purakh we pray for Donation from 'Daily Kirat' of every sikh around the globe so that teaching of Guru’s and Martyrs remain forever.

BDSIAIMT, PATIALA , PUNJAB, a registered society under ACT/XXI OF 1860 and added in NGO INDIA , has been in the service of this country for more than a five years and provides exemplary healthcare and training without making profit as a motive.
BDSIAIMT, PATIALA has been a pioneer in healthcare training in BATALA and conducts formal and non-formal training for Ayurvedic , veterinary and allied health professionals. The guiding principle has always been to make healthcare accessible to all. BDSIAIMT, PATIALAconducts training for students in Ayurvedic , Veterinary and allied paramedical programmes. ?

BDSIAIMT, PATIALA OBJECTIVES

• Prevention and relief of human suffering irrespective of caste, creed, community, religion and economic status.
• Promotion of knowledge of the factors governing health.
• Coordination of activities for training Ayurvedic ,Vetirinary, allied health professionals .
• Implementation of schemes for comprehensive health care, family planning and community welfare.
• Rendering health in calamities and disasters of all kinds.

BDSIAIMT, PATIALA CHAIR OF HEALTH SCIENCES

BDSIAIMT, PATIALA and IGNOU have come together to establish a BDSIAIMT, PATIALA Chair of Health Sciences with the following objectives:

i. To plan, develop, and run academic programmes for health (including Ayurvedic , Veterinary and allied health) and other socially relevant programmes for capacity building for various health functionaries.

ii. To form a ACCADEMIC COMMITTEE , BOARD COMMITTEE & EXAMINATION COMMITTEE for the planning and development and implementation of various programmes of study.

iii.To collaborate in academic activities such as conduct of conferences, seminars, research etc.
iv. To undertake and execute all such activities required for the fulfillment of the objectives described above.

The BDSIAIMT, PATIALA Chair will design and offer courses in different areas of health sciences in coordination with School of Health Sciences, Centre for Paramedical Studies and other Schools/ Centres of IGNOU as appropriate UNDER CCU. It will bring to it programmes the combined strength of BDSIAIMT, PATIALA network in ensuring the technical quality of training so as to provide the nation with skilled and qualified healthcare personnel.
