Introduction: |

Acute
rheumatic fever is caused by streptococcal infection. When
effects the heart causes the rheumatic heart disease. It
is charactirsed by fever , anorexia, joint pain, sore
throat carditis and subcutaneous nodules. |

Patient
was suffering from fever, sore throat, joint pains, Pains
all over the body. and breathlessness during work ,
digestive disorder and also presence of subcutaneous
nodules. |

Lab
findings: ASO TITER : Above 400
He was diagnosed 1-1/2 yrs before coming to
me and was given approx 15 injections of Penicillin 120,000
units. |
|
He was given complete ayurvedic treatment for 4-5 months |
|

Fever,
sore throat ,digestive problems and breathlessness were
greatly reduced subcutaneous nodules were however present
.
ASO TITER : Below : 200 (i.e Normal)
After
2.5 yrs of treatment Lab findings are still normal. That is
there is no recurrence of disease till date.
